Choke Valve Repair – Dung Quat Oil Refinery

Information:
Choke valve.

Condition:
The valve body is leaking due to damaged Soft Seat and O-Ring.

MOG’s Solutions:

• Shut off the pipelines and valves related to the choke valve and ensured safety for personnel;

• Disassembled the choke valve components to access the damaged valve body;

• Machined the Soft Seat (PTFE);

• Replaced the entire Soft Seat and O-Rings with new ones;

• Conducted testing after the repair.
