Information:
Masoneilan Positioner, Model: SVI II AP.
Condition:
The new positioner has never been used but does not operate and does not output any signal.
MOG’s Solutions:
Removed the positioner and inspected each component, identifying the cause as a faulty 4-20mA control circuit;
Replaced the main control circuit board;
Installed it on the demo valve, including the feedback linkage, to test operation;
The positioner is now functioning normally.
