Repair of DVC 3200 Positioner – Dai Hung Queen FSO

Information:
The Logix 3200 positioner is used for crude oil production on the Dai Hung platform.

Condition:
The positioner was not functioning.

MOG’s Solutions:

• Before offshore deployment: Initially identified possible failure in the main board or UI card.

• Pre-ordered both the main board and UI card.

• On-site: Removed and replaced the main board for testing – the positioner still did not operate.

• Removed and replaced the UI card – the positioner resumed normal operation.

• Valve function test: PASS.
